[CMake] Can't build cmake 2.8.1 out of source

No. Because typically it does work. If you have more precise information
about what causes the problem, we're listening.

Please answer Bill's previous questions before logging anything:
What cmake is run in 5?  cmake --version?  Where did you get that cmake?
 Does the one from the www.cmake.org page work?
