[CMake] installing cmake --- aCC not found

Thanks to Mathieu Malaterre for his answer.

I went and looked at cmake_bootstrap.log. In that file the first error is:

./bootstrap: line 422: aCC: command not found

So I went to this website:

http://research.msrg.utoronto.ca/ACC/Download

and I downloaded aCC, which failed to compile in version 8 or version 7.

Is this the right program even?

Also, I have the following ncurses libraries in /usr/lib

libncurses.so.5@ libncurses.so.5.5* libncursesw.so.5@ libncursesw.so.5.5*

Am I supposed to have the developer's version of these libraries, as suggested in Mathieu's message?

Thank you,
