[cmake-developers] Adding directories as sources - how to handle that

Hi,

there is a bug report ( http://public.kitware.com/Bug/view.php?id=14205 ) 
which says that the project files generated for Eclipse cause issues in Eclipse 
if some of the source files are directories.

Now, what to do about that.
I can modify the Eclipse generator so that it handles this case better.

How do other generators react in that case ?
Should it maybe be an error if a directory is added as a source file to a 
target ?
