[CMake] CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER_VERSION quite a useful variable, right?

Thanks to both Rolf Eike Beer and Petr Kmoch for showing me that the 
variable is documented as "CMAKE_<LANG>_COMPILER_VERSION".  :-)
