I believe CMake 2.8.9 is required for Ninja on Windows. It hasn't been
released yet.

git clone https://github.com/martine/ninja.git
cd ninja
python bootstrap.py
then copy the ninja binary somewhere in your PATH (/usr/local/bin on
Linux, for example)
