[CMake] Regression in FindJNI.cmake on ia64?

Hello cmake maintainers,

vtk 5.4.2-7 FTBFS on ia64
   https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=vtk;ver=5.4.2-7;arch=ia64;stamp=1275000467

In this version, local FindJNI.cmake had been dropped and replaced by
a dependency on cmake >= 2.8.1-3

Configuration did not find Java libraries:
  -- Java version 1.6.0.18 configured successfully!
  -- Found Java: /usr/lib/jvm/default-java/bin/java
  -- Could NOT find JNI  (missing:  JAVA_AWT_LIBRARY JAVA_JVM_LIBRARY)

I see nothing wrong in cmake, which is why I do not file a bug report
yet, but are you aware of problems on ia64 with cmake 2.8.1-4?

FYI gdcm built fine with 2.8.1-3:
