[CMake] Date/Time Function?

Last year, a thread came up where the possibility of including
functionality in CMake to return things like the current Month, Day,
Year and Tim was discussed:

I was curious if anything ever came of that?  I can't find any such
functionality currently in CMake, but perhaps I'm just not looking in
the correct place.  If it has not been implemented, is there any plan to
currently?
