Solution:
INCLUDE(CheckSymbolExists)
CHECK_SYMBOL_EXISTS(strcasecmp "strings.h" HAVE_STRCASECMP)
CHECK_SYMBOL_EXISTS(strncasecmp "strings.h" HAVE_STRNCASECMP)
CHECK_SYMBOL_EXISTS(snprintf "stdio.h"    HAVE_SNPRINTF)
