Okay it seems to be perl problem therefore I've decided to make the
script directly calling system function:

Here you have an exemple using REGEXP extension:

MACRO (TODAY RESULT)

        EXECUTE_PROCESS(COMMAND "date" "/T" OUTPUT_VARIABLE ${RESULT})
