[CMake] Custom cache

can't you load up a "pre-cache" with cmake on fresh runs?
cmake -C.
I am assuming you could use a backup copy of your CMakeCache.txt with
the changed entries removed as a starting place.
Just a guess. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
