Ok, last time I looked I think the 4.2.1 where in that state the 4.3.0
are now.

I probably will as soon as: I've got a permanent win32 machine again and
it has enough free space on it for MSVC+MinGW.

Just to make that clear: KDE4 doesn't require gcc 4.x, in fact it builds
just fine with gcc 3.3. Unfortunately MinGW's gcc 3.3 is not mature
enough to compile KDE4 without disabling some parts.
