All good advice.  Also, Kent, have a look at
http://cmake.org/HTML/Documentation.html again. That is documentation for
CMake 2.4-patch 7 RC-6 (IOW, the sixth release candidate for the next
version of CMake).  So that is up to date.

INSTALL(DIRECTORY ... is documented there and is also documented for
2.4.6.
