[CMake] Location of cmake stuff files

Hello,

I'm using the 2.4.6 version and I find cmake to be a great tool. Thanx 
to developers!

What I don't understand is why should such files as CMakeCache.txt and 
cmake_install.cmake
be not in CMakeFiles? And why is CMakeFiles not hidden?

Suppose I have two files in my project:

main.c
header.h

I create CMakeLists.txt and after "cmake ." call I suddenly have more 
extra files than my project itself.
