[CMake] problem with EXPORT_LIBRARY_DEPENDENCIES(... APPEND) ?

FILE(WRITE ...) 
FILE(APPEND ...) 
works. 
 
It's a slackware 9.1 with gcc 3.3.6 and kernel 2.4.22 (I know it's 
ancient). 
I'll have a look at the code.
