my guess is that you are using Visual C++ 2005 Express, and you have not 
installed and set properly the Platform SDK yet. Follow the instructions 
in here to set up the Platform SDK with VC Expr: 
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/visualc/usingpsdk/
