Thanks for this. I'd been led to believe by something I'd (mis-)read that 
my previous attempt would work, and I've been trying to avoid polluting 
client package CMakeLists.txt files with too much boiler plate. Oh well, 
it's not too much of an imposition since it's only what users have been 
familiar with in raw Make.
