[CMake] Broken FreeBSD Make compatibility from 2.0.6 -> 2.2.2 ?

Hey all,

We recently upgraded from cmake 2.0.6 to 2.2.2, and had an unexpected
result.  FreeBSD make (both 4.x and 6.x) behave as if VERBOSE=1 were
defined in the make invocation when run using Makefiles generated from
cmake 2.2.2.  Usage of GNU make on these same FreeBSD systems does not
exhibit this behaviour.

If this is not a known issue, I'd be happy to investigate further..
