[CMake] detecting a directory or filename

hello,

I am doing some globing in a directory and but I only want the 
directories not files. The list could easily be changed after the 
globing. But I can't seem to find any methods to detect if a  given 
string is a file or a directory. I do see the "IF(EXISTS ...)" 
function, but no "IF(IS_DIRECTORY ...) kinda thing.
