[Cmake] EXEC_PROGRAM - bug, "feature", or my bad? Mac OS X 10.3 / BSD

Can you create a self contained complete example that
shows the problem, and put it in the bug tracker?

A tar file can be attached to the bug report.   I have tried to reproduce
the problem, but it seems to work find for my example.
I tried spaces in the path of the source and binary, and it worked.
