Summary:                    How to detect --debug-output and/or --trace
Description: 
I want to detect if the project is configured with --debug-output and/or
--trace. I could not find a (list) of CMake variable that is set when the
options are supplied.
I want to pass the options on to (sub)projects integrated as external projects.
