I retried with 037b0934f929ba17434906fb781aeb1acb583385 to make sure it 
isn't a regression but it does not filter the localized output with that 
commit either.
I'll try running the cmake testsuite to see if it breaks dependency 
scanning as well.

I am really fond of ninja as a user but I am not really familiar with 
the format or code base yet so I am not entirely sure what to look for 
or how to create a proper test case for this :/
