* The :module:`ExternalProject` and :module:`FetchContent` modules gained
  :variable:`CMAKE_EP_GIT_CLONE_RETRY_COUNT` and
  :variable:`CMAKE_EP_GIT_CLONE_RETRY_DELAY` variables to control
  ``git clone`` retries.
