If KitWare could add black dots (2 mm ?) down the center of the scale bar for the contour levels or thin black lines at the contour levels, I for one would be able to count from one end or the other to get a good idea of the actual contour value in which I am interested.
SUGGESTED BIG IMPROVEMENT. Now this is a really good idea (but significantly more work to implement) -- Add a pick capability that draws a black line on the scale bar and a value in white to the side when the user clicks on a contour surface. One could manage the scale-bar display-feature based on last-click-only-is-visable on the scale bar, and/or each-click-on-each-contour toggles visability of contour-level feature on scale bar. This last one could either display just the last contour level picked on be additive so that multiple levels are marked but only the levels that the user wants displayed. |
