Summary0001386: submission of zipped files
DescriptionSubmitting test.xml files can sometimes be very long.
As they are mostly text files, zipping them before submission would be very convenient.

Is there a way to make Ctest do that either for http and ftp uploads?

 CVS CTest has an option to submit gzipped files. The server was modified to support them.
Use
SET (COMPRESS_SUBMISSION ON)
