Summary | 0001329: Relative path for object file broken by property
Description | The following code: SET_SOURCE_FILES_PROPERTIES(foo/default.cpp PROPERTIES OBJECT_DEPENDS "${CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/foo/foo.h" ) ADD_LIBRARY(my foo/default.cpp) will build default.o in the current binary dir instead of as foo/default.o. Somehow adding the source property breaks the relative path.

This has been fixed in the CVS tree. The fix was in a critical area of CMake so I will try to keep an eye out for side effects. The SubDir test has been modified to verify that this works. If all seems to be working well then I'll have Bill put it onto the 2.0 branch for the 2.0.6 release. |

I'm re-opening this bug because the fix was not documented or moved to the 2.0 branch. This bug entry should have had the CVS revisions of the changes included when the fix was repoted. |

Revision 1.270 to 1.271 for cmMakefile.cxx |

I'm assigning this bug to Bill for merging the changes to the 2.0 branch. |

The 2.0 branch is done, this should be fixed in 2.2.0. |
