Summary | 0001050: ctest running for a very long time without doing anything
Description | When doing a ctest -D Experimental for MITK (www.mitk.org), ctest sometimes runs for hours with 100% CPU without doing anything after compiling and before performing the tests. In the end it terminates correctly. On linux I checked with lsof what it is doing. No disk activity. I attached to the process with gdb a few times and it is looping in some regular expression routines. Maybe some break condition is not met. Sorry I can only report this for version 1.8.3. I will test 2.0.2 when bug 0001049 is resolved.

Could you try this with CVS ctest? It should fix this problem. |

Tried it with the CVS version of yesterday.Same effect. |

Is this still a problem? I have not heard of hung ctest issues in a while now. |

Haven't seen this anymore. Can't remember when it was gone. |
