Wait, it is the inverse. It _always_ displays the cursor. Which is equally terrible of course. I just want a clear feedback if I'm editting a text field or not. |

On some terminals, the cursor is actually invisible. It is always displayed on top of a highlighted block of text, so, if you use a block cursor and it is the same color as the highlight (eg they're both white), you don't see anything. |
