Eike proposes to create a general FindLua.cmake instead, so I'm reverting the change from 0014224:0033318:

I've put the module into next:

http://cmake.org/gitweb?p=cmake.git;a=commitdiff;h=89cfa2005207ae9423d7a200cd22ed62ff733161 [^]

It works for 5.[012] on openSUSE according to my testing. I have not yet touched the existing modules to use this one, this will be done once CMake 2.8.12 is released.

I think I will not touch the existing modules as then someone will come and complain that he no longer can search for both 5.0 and 5.1 at the same time, which would be a side effect of the change.
