"The CMake fragment will generate a file in the ${CMAKE_CURRENT_BUILD_DIR} called somelib_export.h"...

CMAKE_CURRENT_BUILD_DIR is not a defined variable. CMAKE_CURRENT_BINARY_DIR was probably intended.
