0013466: wish: do not require VS/dumpbin to obtain prerequisites for bundles
The "dumpbin" utility comes with MS Visual Studio only. For MinGW developers that is a rather big dependency to get something as simple as DeployQt4 to work. I'm aware the MS VS Express is available for free, but my guess is that there should be some MinGW tool that can provide the same info as dumpbin.exe?

I'm just going to pretend you didn't actually say "something as simple as DeployQt4" in your description of this feature request...

If somebody has time to make BundleUtilities work with a MinGW-based-dumpbin-equivalent, I am open to reviewing a patch for this feature request. I'm not aware of such a tool off the top of my head, or it would already be in there. I don't personally have the bandwidth to do the leg work on this one, but would be happy to help/advise anybody who does...
