<p class="MsoNormal"> When building this third-party library on Windows, I get sporadic “build FAILED” errors, along with the “cannot restore timestamp” error regarding the generate.stamp file discussed in this thread from April 2013:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"> The last post from the April 2013 thread mentions setting CMAKE_SUPPRESS_REGENERATION might fix the problem. I tried setting this to true using –D CMAKE_SUPPRESS_REGENERATION:BOOL=1, and indeed that seems to have suppressed the build
FAILED errors. Is this the correct solution, and can you explain why this works? Or should I obtain CMake 2.8.10? (One of our third party libraries needs 2.8.10 or higher, so using 2.8.8 is not an option).<o:p></o:p></p>
